Proba poner esto al final de tu xorg.conf:

Section "Extensions"
Option "Composite" "Enable"
EndSection

Y si no ayuda mira esto que encontre, talvez te sirve de algo si

nvidia SuSE 10.2

I disabled xgl and followed the native nvidia instructions here:

Code:
http://en.opensuse.org/Beryl#Beryl_with_nVidia_drivers_-_no_Xgl.2FAIGLX

The bits that seem to do the trick are:
nvidia-xconfig –composite
nvidia-xconfig –allow-glx-with-composite
nvidia-xconfig –render-accel
nvidia-xconfig –add-argb-glx-visuals

All the stuff in ccsm now works smoothly and without jerky movements.
